SAFE MERCURY AMALGAM REMOVAL TECHNIQUE (SMART)

Bytes of Byron does not use mercury amalgam fillings. Mercury (Hg) is a chemical element that is toxic to humans. We use mercury-free white fillings instead. We offer mercury filling removals, that are performed in a very careful manner that focuses on the safe disposal of mercury debris. Great care is taken to prevent the patient from swallowing any of the particles. We isolate the filling to be removed, position a rubber dam inside the mouth, and use high-volume suction to remove any toxic particles as they are released.

Once the old filling has been removed, we take special care to safely dispose of the toxic debris. We employ a unique suction system that automatically separates the mercury debris by trapping it in a filter before it ever reaches the sink drain. This technology is the new standard in eco-dentistry and effectively removes 99% of the mercury. It eradicates mercury poisoning and protects our patients.
